Batchelor & Bird Lead Races; Measure N Losing by Wide Margin

Real-time election results for Solano County and Dixon. Scroll down for results on the mayoral, city council and Measure N races in Dixon.

NOTE: The Solano County website is being very finicky. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Jack Batchelor was leading the Mayoral race by a wide margin as of midnight on Tuesday, with more than half the total tallied vote. Steve Bird was way out in front in the city council race, with Jerry Castanon and Ted Hickman battling for the second spot.

70 percent of the counted votes as of midnight voted on Measure N.

But there are plenty of votes to be counted. The Solano County website did not offer updates for hours after the initial wave of results. Council Cancidate Ian Arnold wrote a blog post thanking his supporters and informing Dixonites that he was off to bed after hours of no new results.

Their site was down for a bit. Looks like it's back up now. I'll add the results to the body of the story right now.

LOL, baby boys. The (Dixon) Machine won, Kudos to them. They are real and they kicked butt with one totally qualified candidate and one not so much at all, I am impressed! Everything the Mayor wants we gonna get.... Bird and Castanon vote with the Mayor 100 %. I am glad he won but not so much for the train track crap..... Ian, you need a campaign manager, dude, and some humility and a Dixon reality check. Next time. What a CF. Steve Bird, you rock. I hope you live up to celebrity status!

Ah blessed silence --- until the unholy clique of Scholl, Riddle and Ceremello think of their next stunt.
