Candidates running for Elk Grove mayor and the Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Education will have time to share their positions and answer questions from moderators and audience members.

Six people are vying to be the city's first directly elected mayor, while a total of eight candidates are competing for three contested trustee seats on the school district's board. One school board seat is uncontested, with incumbent Chet Madison running unopposed.

Note: Mayoral candidate Greg Higley has announced he will not be able to attend the forum.
