VIDEO: How Do You Save Someone From a Sewer?

Fire and sewer district officials practiced rescue techniques Wednesday.

The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District and to practice confined-space rescue techniques. The drill, held at Rosemont's , simulated a worker injured at the bottom of a sewer. He was hoisted out by fire rescuers.

Thanks for the suggestion. The City is currently studying a new interchange off 99 and Whitelock,…Read More and the project is in our General Plan. We’re also updating the Elk Grove Blvd. onramp—currently one of the most outdated on 99 in the region. Work will begin this summer.
