Elk Grove teens are being asked to attend a city meeting and give their opinions on the issues that affect them. The city of Elk Grove's Youth Commission will hold a Teen Town Hall on Tuesday at city hall.

Teen Town Hall Forum Planned for Oct. 23
Elk Grove, CA –The Elk Grove Youth Commission is hosting the Teen Town Hall Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 23 to provide an opportunity for Elk Grove teens to voice their concerns and opinions about issues in the community.
The forum is aimed at helping Elk Grove teens get involved in their local government while earning community service hours.
Information gathered at the meeting will help the Youth Commission determine priorities and plan future programs and projects for the current school year. For the past five years, the Elk Grove Youth Commission has addressed a variety of issues impacting Elk Grove teens, including cybersafety, bullying and substance abuse.

The Youth Commission is also gathering feedback with an online survey available at www.elkgrovecity.org/youth-commission.
The Youth Commission is responsible for providing recommendations and information to the City Council and public-at-large on behalf of the youth in Elk Grove. The goal of the Youth Commission is to promote more youth involvement in leadership, government and the community.
