Preschoolers, aged 3-5, are invited to join us for 30 minutes of interactive play with parent or caregiver followed by stories, songs, fingerplays and crafts at 10:30. In order to keep Preschool Story & Play safe and enjoyable for all, we limit participation to the first 40 children.

Drop-in homework help for school-age and high school students is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Volunteer homework coaches will be available to assist students in grades K-12 with homework assignments.

In order to keep Toddler Storytime safe and enjoyable for all, we limit participation to the first 30 children. This program is repeated at 10:30 AM. Due to space limitations, caregivers and children may attend the 10:00 AM storytime or the 10:30 AM storytime but not both.

Calling all poets, grades 7 through 12! Do you have an original poem that you would like to share?
Read your poem and compete for one of the Target gift card prizes:
• $75 First Place
• $50 Second Place
• $25 Third Place
There will be two divisions:
• 7th-8th grade
• 9th-12th grade
Entries will be judged on:
• Originality
• Content
• Presentation
Entry Guidelines;
• Teens must be in grades 7-12
• Entry must be original work of participant
• Poem must be no longer than one page.
• All entries must be submitted in 12-point Arial font
• Your name, school, and grade level must appear on the top of the page,
• All entries must be submitted at least 1 hour before contest begins
We also invite enthusiastic audience members to cheer on the poets.
