Bill Clinton to Endorse Bera Tuesday at UC Davis

Clinton will endorse candidates John Garamendi, Ami Bera, Jerry McNerney and Jose Hernandez during his speech Tuesday.

Bill Clinton will speak on the UC Davis quad Tuesday morning.

The former President of the United States will endorse several northern California Democrats who are running in close congressional races.  Clinton is expected to take the stage on the UC Davis quad around 10:30 a.m.

Clinton will endorse candidates John Garamendi (CA-03), Ami Bera (CA-07), Jerry McNerney (CA-09) and Jose Hernandez (CA-10). All of these races are considered to be competitive by both the Democratic and Republican Parties.

For those who drive, parking ($7) is likely to be available at the facilities below. Here’s a map of the campus, and directions

  • South Entry Parking Structure

  • West Entry Parking Structure
  • Lot 25

There will be increased security at the event as well. 

“We're going to have an expanded police presence to help with cross management,” said UC Davis Police Sgt. Dan Malloy. “Secret Service will be doing all the heavy lifting.”
