Dylan Chavez, a University of Mississippi pitcher who played for , was chosen by the Boston Red Sox.
The pick came in day two of the draft, according to ESPN.
's Josh Pigg, who played in , was drafted by the Cleveland Indians.
The CIF Sac-Joaquin Section announced the 28th-round pick Wednesday on Twitter.
