Elk Grove's high school football teams have a few games under their belts, but it's still early in the season.

Teams from around the region will face off Friday in the second week of official play, with many hitting the road.

I am watching Rocklin Thunder Freshman Football because my cutes-patoots nephew is Football Captain this year. Auntie does play favorites! Went for Jesuit, my son is a Sac United player and 3/4 of Jesuit's starting line up is Sac United players! It was a great match, very physical as expected when these two meet up. Unfortunately it ended in a tie, 1-1.
