How about reminding people that posting garage sale signs with tape on municipal street lights, utility poles and electrical boxes, signal lights, and traffic signs is a violation of Elk Grove municipal codes and state codes. If your address is on it, you can be tracked down and be cited or arrested. The city is needing a few examples to be made, because the problem has been rampant.

Seriously, how about we just remind and encourage folks to take down their signs after their sales. I think an arrest is a bit dramatic and harsh.

Seriously, how about people respect that public property fixtures are not their personal posterboards or artboards to begin with. Play games, win prizes.
