<p>It all began in 1980 with Bill and T.J. opening up Applebee's Rx for Edibles & Elixers in Atlanta Georgia. There are now over 100 franchises across the nation. The chain also operates in many foreign countries.</p> <p>Applebee's is known for such classic entrees as oriental chicken salad, florentine ravioli, provolone-stuffed meatballs with fettuccine, fiesta lime chicken, house sirloin steak and shrimp.</p> <p>Gift cards and curbside ordering are ways to make ordering at Applebee's easier. A kids menu also makes things easier with fun meals to keep kids busy and if not, the Applebee's Family Activity Book is a great back up.</p>
