One of the larger, multi-functional parks in Elk Grove, Bartholomew Sports Park is named after Hal Bartholomew, a local community leader and Elk Grove Recreation Association founder. It has four tennis courts, lighted football and soccer fields, lighted baseball fields and a playground. Due to its size and variety of uses, Bartholomew Park is one of the more popular Elk Grove parks and can fit up to 480 vehicles in its parking lots.
