Carroll Elementary School

<p>Carroll School was the name of a one-room schoolhouse that served farming families in the area during the late 1800s and early 1900s. The old building was demolished, and today's Carroll Elementary School is a modern structure with courtyards, a library and an auditorium serving over 1000 students in grades K through 6.</p> <p>The school offers intensive writing instruction for all students, and social skills classes to help kids solve problems collaboratively and prevent bullying. Carroll was recently nominated as a California Distinguished School for its success boosting students' scores on state achievement tests.</p>
