Elk Grove Elementary School

Elk Grove's original elementary is now in its fourth location and teaches a well-rounded curriculum that includes civics and ethics lessons and an emphasis on visual and performing arts. English classes are taught in small workshops with students divided up based on aptitude. After-school activities include sports and student council supported by an active group of parent volunteers. Kids take part in a variety of arts-related adventures according to grade level, from putting on a circus in kindergarten to attending theater productions in the upper grades. The school is open year-round.
