Wackford Community and Aquatic Complex

<p>The Barbara Morse Wackford Community and Aquatic Complex is a 15-acre facility that became part of the Consumnes Community Services District in 2004. At this complex, you can swim in one of three pools—one designated for competitive events, one for more leisurely swims and one specifically for children. Teens find fun at the Teen Center and in the 10,000-square-foot gymnasium, where they can play basketball and other games. And kids love Skate Park, which is also available for rent.</p> <p>The complex offers a wide range of classes, on topics ranging from budgeting basics to clogging to karate, hula, fencing and tennis. There are also facilities for more formal events, such as the Valley Oak Ballroom, with its industrial-sized kitchen, and the Poppy and Willow Rooms, which are perfect for social and corporate events.</p>
