Elk Grove Veteran ... can you at least acknowledge that the easy availability of guns in thisRead More country makes it easier for sick people to kill more people? I'm pretty sure many of these events wouldn't have happened if the individual(s) couldn't get a gun and if they did ... a bat? Seriously, you equate a bat with a gun?
Elk Grove Veteran December 17, 2013 at 05:57 pm
I agree it is definitely easier for these few madmen to kill with a gun, than any other means. IRead More agree there is definitely a problem with mentally I'll having access to firearms. They should not have access. However, we absolutely should not put anymore restrictions on purchasing a firearm that would affect the sane, law abiding citizens. Any ideas on how to do this? About the bat, of course I do not equate a gun with a bat. That being said, one could easily kill with a bat. If someone was trying to kill you with a bat, what would you do? Only one way to stop a madman with a bat, or gun, or whatever their weapon of choice may be. So, I do agree, there is a problem with mentally I'll getting there hands on guns, etc. Let us not make it more difficult for law abiding citizens to defend themselves .

I agree that, in an ideal world, restrictions that only keep criminals and the mentally ill fromRead More possessing guns would be preferred. I'm not sure, though, that there are that many restrictions in place that prevent law-abiding citizens from having adequate weapons to protect themselves, hunt, target shoot, and the like.

I bet every one of these folks are loyal, law-abiding US citizens that love this country and wouldRead More lay their lives on the line for it. lol

Seems to be a pattern. Time to re-read "The Art of War". First they poison our pets withRead More melamine, then undercut our workers, then pay cash for homes in our neighborhoods to grow illegal weed. I'm sure there's more.

Oh, I forgot all the 8 3/4 month late term abortions of female "fetuses".
