12U Laguna Youth Baseball team arrives at the 12U Cal Ripken World Series

We would like to get the word out that the 12U Cal Ripken team from Laguna Youth Baseball in Elk Grove, has just Won regionals in Bakersfield and will be going to the 12U Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, Maryland Aug 8th-19th.  These boys have won the state title 5 years in a row, and went to the 10U World Series in Winchester, Virginia and placed 3rd in 2011.  This past week they played and beat Hawaii, Guam, So. Cal, Bakersfield, and Northern Utah to earn a spot and represent the Southwest Region of the United States.  We have a website you can check out and if possible, make donations to the team for traveling expenses.  The website is www.lagunabandits.com.
